Hour-long workouts
you keep skipping
Commercial gyms are built for the 60-90 minute session. By Wednesday, work runs late and you skip. Our 45 protocol fits the day you actually have — and the dose is calibrated for it.
Heart-rate tracked boutique HIIT. Twenty-two floor spots. Two coaches per class. Three NYC locations. No treadmills. No mirrors. No noise. Just the protocol — written by physiologists, run on the clock.
Membership statistics tell the truth. The average commercial gym loses 40% of members in the first quarter and 70% within 12 months. The reason is structural, not motivational.

If you can't see the number move, you can't train against it. Every Inferno class is heart-rate tracked. Your zones, time-in-zone, and trend chart live in your dashboard. The data does the convincing.
Steady-state cardio plus headphones plus a stack of plates is a recipe for two months and out. Group HIIT puts a coach on your form, twenty-one people on your right shoulder, and a clock on the wall.
Every class targets a specific distribution across heart-rate zones — the orange line for fat burn, the red line for VO₂ max. We don't guess. The protocol is the protocol, written by exercise physiologists, run on the clock, displayed on the screens.
Every block has a purpose. The warm primes the nervous system. The intervals build the engine. The strength block protects the joints. The finisher empties the tank. The cool brings you back to room temperature without crashing.
No annual contract. No initiation fee. No "first three months at 50% then we triple it" trap. Pause anytime. Hold for travel. Cancel with 30 days notice.

"I'd done bootcamps. I'd done running. Nothing stuck until something fit my calendar. Forty-five minutes I could actually do. After three months the weight started moving and stayed gone."
"My doctor flagged my resting heart rate at my last physical. Sixteen points down in four months. He asked what changed. I sent him the dashboard."
"I do triathlons. I joined Inferno for the strength block. My VO₂ went up anyway. Three months in I PR'd at a sprint distance without changing my swim or bike."
"I'm a postpartum mom. I wasn't trying to be an athlete. I needed something hard, short, and watched. The coaches don't let you cheat the form. That's the whole thing."
"I thought HIIT meant cardio with weights tacked on. The strength block is real strength work. I'm stronger now than I was lifting four days a week on my own."
"I came for the physical stuff. I stayed for what it did to my head. A 5:45 AM class three times a week and my mornings stopped being a war I had to win."
Every Inferno coach holds a degree in exercise science or kinesiology plus at least one of NSCA-CSCS, ACSM-CPT, or CrossFit L2. Average tenure on the floor is 8 years. We don't hire personalities. We hire people who know what's happening under your skin.
Yes. Every member is fitted with a chest-strap monitor at check-in. Your live zone, BPM, and calories display on the studio screens during class and sync to your member dashboard after. Polar H10 quality, sanitized between every use.
Yes. Every interval has three tiered options on the board — foundation, push, and peak. Coaches scale you on the floor in your first three classes and your zones recalibrate from your live data. Roughly 30% of members are in their first ninety days. Nobody is staring at you. Everyone started here.
A light snack 60-90 minutes before class works for most people — banana, oatmeal, or toast with nut butter. Avoid heavy meals within an hour. Hydrate steadily through the day, not just at the door. If you're a 6:00 AM regular, fasted is fine once you've been at it three weeks.
Class capacity is 22 floor spots. Two coaches lead every class — one on the mic, one walking corrections. Booking opens 7 days out for drop-ins and 14 days out for unlimited. Most peak-time classes (6:00 AM, 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM) hit capacity 36-48 hours before. Mid-day and 8:00 PM tend to have same-day availability.
Doors close at minute 5 for safety — the dynamic warm-up sequences your nervous system for the intervals. Arrive late and you'll be redirected to the next available class with no late charge once per cycle. Repeated late arrivals trigger a 24-hour cancellation hold. We don't take this stuff lightly because the protocol doesn't work backwards.
All three locations have full showers, lockers (combination — no key required), towel service, Aesop products, blow dryers, and flat irons. Bring your own gym clothes and sneakers — we don't rent kit. Filtered water station at the door. Eucalyptus steam available at SoHo and Upper West post-class for an additional fee.
All three studios are designed around transit. SoHo (Lafayette) is a 4-minute walk from Bleecker Street on the 6. Williamsburg is two blocks from Bedford L. Upper West is one block from 72nd Street on the 1/2/3. Validated SpotHero rates are available for the West 73rd location. Citi Bike racks at all three doors.
Yes. Unlimited members get one free 7-day pause per quarter and unlimited travel holds (3+ days, advance notice). No annual contract. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice — no fees, no exit interview, no upsell call. If you're moving out of NYC we'll waive the notice period. We've done this a few times.
Pick a time. Show up ten minutes early. We'll fit your monitor, give you the tour, and walk you to your spot. Forty-five minutes later you'll know whether this is for you.
